Freshly free from an abusive marriage, Carla heads twelve hours from everything she’s ever known to start over in a small coastal town called Seaside Point.

She answers an ad for a housekeeper and expects to find a woman waiting for her when she arrives.

Instead, she’s face-to-face with a grumpy, weathered fisherman named Kelly.

Determined to carve out a new future for herself, she does her best to make the situation work and befriends most of the town.
